Celene Sakurako

Submission from Manila, Writer

Celene was born in Tokyo and raised in Manila. She one day sees herself living “in a garage loft of a foreign country without learning the native language.” She’s constantly on the move by exposing herself to new things, expanding her mind’s eye and traveling. She considers Charles Bukowski as one of her literary heroes and her bedside table is filled with dictionaries and thesauruses. Celene also has a photo diary reflecting the people she meets and the places she sees.
