Léa Boeglin

Photographer, Paris

Lea was born in the very south of France, since then, she migrated North and called Paris her home. She is a photographer interested in situations that happen by chance, and that inspires her, lights, shadows, colors… The “still life” you can see on her roll, very much represents he love for disconnecting and going back to the simple life, enjoying test with goat cheese or an afternoon in the country with some good friends.

My name is Léa and I am 23 years old. I am a photographer and I also work as an assistant to different photographers. I live in Paris, but I was born in the south of France (Aix-en-Provence, near Marseille).

We see a lot of people on your roll, can you tell us more about them?

On my roll, you can see:

- Curtis Lewis, a model I photographed for Solène Martinau’s clothing collection HU/MAN.

- My friends’ band “AVIONS” – give their music a listen here https://avionsavions.bandcamp.com/

- my boyfriend Thomas, and my friends Lucien, Charlotte, and Amanda

Architecture seems to be a big inspiration of yours, how so?

Yes, my mother’s work is directly linked with architecture. That’s why I’m always inspired by this discipline.

How do you explain your interest in «still life» which is also visible in many of your shots?

I’m interested in situations that happen by chance, and that inspire me: lights, shadows, colors…

Where do you go next?

I would like to develop my activity as a photographer, finish my ongoing personal projects, travel...
